Wickedly good music for Dances, Weddings, and Parties

About mormon dj

What Makes MormonDJ different?

My name is Seth Barton, and I'm a DJ, guitarist, music lover... and I'm a Mormon! I can provide calming background music, or a wild dance party (as wild as Mormons get anyways) or both! Just let me know your needs and I'll make it happen.

Make it a Party!

A great DJ can be the world's difference to the vibe of a party. Check out this video from the Mckay-Kendrick BYUSA rally that I DJ'd at "The Wall" to see why.

Q. What's Your Rate?

My normal rate is a $75 deposit once the reservation has been made, and then $75 per hour of music at your event. There's no charge for setting up or taking down the equipment.

Q. What equipment do you have?

I can bring the noise! I pack two QSC K12 peered speakers, mounted on one QSC K181 Subwoofer and one JBL 518S Subwoofer. I run all of that using a Numark NS6 DJ controller with Serato DJ on a MacBook Pro 2016 13''. For lights, I use a Chauvet Gigbar 2 with strobes, lasers and all the fixings. I can also provide a microphone for announcements. If you're wondering what that means, it means I can provide enough volume that the whole block is sure to hear it - and you're neighbors are sure to see it.

Q. Is your music clean?

Of course it is! Whenever I find profanity in a popular tune, I either try to find radio or clean edits or edit it myself before I play it. Some music has no profanity, but is still vulgar. I stay away from those tracks as best I can. There's plenty of good music out there!

Q. Where are you based?

I'm based out of Provo, Utah. Depending on circumstances, I can travel a good bit to get to a gig. If the event is far away, more fees may apply.
